다양한 동사구 영어/한국어 표현 (5) - 영어로 표현하기 까다로운 한국어, 영어로 어떻게 표현하면 될까?

오늘은 동사구 중에서도 한국어 표현을 딱 들었을 때 영어로 한 번에 떠오르지 않는

표현들 위주로 정리해 보았습니다.

 

'-에 대한 논의/얘기가 많이 있다'라는 한국어 표현을 봤을 때

'많이 있다?'를 영어로 어떻게 표현하지? 라고 생각이 드는데요

much discussion이라는 표현을 써주면 아주 적절합니다.

 

 

또한 '상황이 무르익다'는 한국어에서 많이 쓰이는 표현인데요

영어로 딱 떠오르지 않을 때가 많습니다.
